Chief's Message
On behalf of the sworn officers and civilian support staff who collectively serve our community, I would like to thank you for taking time to visit our website. Located just blocks from the western shore of Lake Michigan (between Milwaukee and Chicago), our department serves a diverse population of 77,816 citizens.
As we work to build on our crime reduction success to date, additional work remains ahead. This website was created to increase our visibility and accessibility.
