The City Development Department’s Planning DivisionThe act or process of dividing; state of being divided. accepts and reviews applications for conditional use permits, amendments to the ComprehensiveComplete; including all or nearly all elements or aspects of something.   Plan, zoning changes, certified survey maps and development requests requiring site plan reviews. Some items are brought before the Joint Plan Review Team; the Planning, Heritage and Design Commission; the Community Development Authority of the City of Racine, or a special design review committee. Others are reviewed by staff with no outside committee review required. The Planning staff will determine the appropriate process for your item and will help you understand the process to complete your project.
