2026 Annual Action Plan (AAP) Public Hearing

The City of Racine is beginning development of its 2026 Annual Action Plan (AAP) for programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), including:

  • Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
  • HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME)
  • Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)

This hearing is part of the City’s citizen participation process to identify community needs and priorities before the draft plan is prepared.

We want to hear from you! Share your input on housing, public services, economic development, and neighborhood improvement needs.

Residents, stakeholders, and service providers are encouraged to attend and provide input. Your feedback will help shape funding priorities for the upcoming program year.

A new lakefront tradition begins May 9 with the opening of the Racine Farmers Market on the Lake! Explore fresh produce, locally made foods, and handmade goods while connecting with the farmers and makers behind it all. Live music, great food, and Lake Michigan views set the tone for a vibrant Saturday morning.

Start at the market, then continue into downtown Racine to explore nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions—all within walking distance.

Free and open to the public. Held Saturdays, May through October from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
