Introduction
The goal of a Smart City is to use technology to improve citizens’ lives and drive economic growth. Smart City technology includes internet-connected devices with real-time sensors, user-centered tools like app-based parking meters and interactive maps, and sustainable infrastructure such as energy-efficient buildings and electric buses or scooters. High-speed internet and access to connected devices ensure reliable communication, fosters innovation, creates jobs, and attracts businesses.
