2025 Property Tax Bill Information

Property tax bills for the City of Racine were mailed to property owners on Monday, December 15. Residents are encouraged to carefully review their bill and the 2026 Information for City of Racine Taxpayers enclosure included in the mailing.

The flyer provides details on how to pay online, by mail, or in person, as well as key due dates for 2026 property tax installments. Please note that the QR code printed in the mailed trifold links to Racine County’s former website (.com) domain and may not function correctly. Residents are encouraged to visit this link if they wish to pay their property taxes online.

To help residents better understand changes to their bills, the City has also published a separate one-page explainer that answers common questions, such as how property taxes are determined and why they have increased. That handout explains that property tax bills include charges from multiple taxing jurisdictions and highlights the role of voter-approved referenda and state credits in this year’s increase. Download that document here.

After reviewing these materials, residents with questions about their property tax bill should contact the City of Racine Clerk’s Office at 262-636-9171 for assistance.
