District #3 is located on Racine’s Central Side.
Time in Office
Alderman of the 3rd District, term ends April 2027.
A lifelong resident of Racine, Alder Olivia Turquoise Davis proudly represents District 3 with a steadfast commitment to equity, community engagement, and collective progress. Her work is grounded in the belief that “It’s not about I, it’s about WE.”
Olivia’s deep roots in Racine began with service at local community centers and her involvement as one of the original Main Gallery participants in a theater cohort. She has served as a Youth Fair Chance Officer, traveling to Washington, D.C. to speak on Capitol Hill and help secure additional funding for youth programming. Her advocacy has extended into organized labor, where she served as Secretary and bargaining member for AFSCME–WSEU and as Co-Chair of AFSCME Next Wave.
Her career also includes serving as a domestic violence advocate, executive director, and training facilitator. In the arts, Olivia is a community-based stage theater director, event organizer, and champion for creative expression. As the owner of Resilient by Design, she provides supportive spaces for individuals affected by traumatic experiences, centering healing and self-care.
Over the years, Olivia has volunteered and worked in multiple roles that uplift and strengthen the Racine community, always with a people-first approach. She remains dedicated to staying connected with residents, serving as a bridge between the community and city government.
Proudly hailing from a city on both the lake and the river, Alder Davis envisions a Racine where every voice is heard, every neighbor is valued, and every step forward is taken together.
