About
AldermenAn elected member of a municipal council. Peete has a strong belief that he should always answer the question: what can I do to aid in helping improve the quality of life for all citizens of Racine. As Alderman: Peete relies on his wealth of experience from: being a small business owner, educator and experience in corporate America to assure the needs and wants of Racine citizens or being met.
Career experiences: Agency Owner Allstate Insurance Company, Stem Teacher Twenty First Century Preparatory School, Teacher Kenosha Unified School District, Adjunct Instructor at the following: Gateway Technical College, Carthage College, University of Wisconsin Parkside and Production Manager at Case Harvester.
Peete uses his professional experiences as a past or present member of the following Common Council committees to serve the needs of the citizens of Racine.
Planning Heritage Design and Zoning committee, Finance and Personal, Chair of the Affirmative action and Human Resource committee, and Past Chair and current member of the Public Safety and licensing committee.
Peete has supported and aided in bringing: new housing, new business and employment opportunities to the city of Racine. Peete works tirelessly with the Racine Unified School District to assure that all students in Racine are assured a quality education.
As member of and past Chair of the Public Safety and Licensing Committee Peete is committed to keeping the residents of Racine Safe by focusing on: traffic control such as no parking signs or stop signs installed where needed and timely snow removal from our streets. Peete’s commitment to public safety is further evidenced by his working with both Law Enforcement and Neighborhood Watch to ensure that the safety needs of Racine citizens are being met.
