His previous elected experience includes serving on the Janesville City Council and as a Town of Fond du Lac Supervisor.
A key focus of Alderman Jorgensen’s work is increasing neighborhood safety throughout the 5th District. His first ordinanceA law passed by a local government as an elected official successfully added a stop sign at a dangerous intersection, demonstrating his commitment to turning constituent concerns into concrete solutions. He prioritizes listening to residents’ voices and taking action on the safety issues that matter most to families and neighborhoods.
Alderman Jorgensen is a strong advocate for well-funded public institutions, particularly the Racine Public Library, which he views as essential to the community’s future. Originally from Janesville, Jorgensen chose to make Racine home with his wife Nadia and their daughter Bonnie. The family, along with their dog Sally, are proud residents of the community he serves.
