The Transit Department manages RYDE Racine, the public transportation system serving Eastern Racine County. RYDE Racine operates a network of fixed-route bus service with nearly 700 stops, covering the area from Lake Michigan to Interstate 94, and stretching from Four Mile Road in the north to Lake Park and Georgetown in the south. In addition to its fixed routes, RYDE Racine offers paratransit services for seniors and individuals with disabilities within a ¾-mile radius of its bus routes. RYDE Racine seeks to provide safe, reliable, convenient, and efficient transit service to those in greater Racine.
