Samuel Myers Park
Park Information
Samuel Myers Park is one of our lakeshore gems, offering a tranquil and serene environment to become one with nature while allowing a limited number of recreation activities. A non-motorized vehicle launch makes it easy to carry in canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards for a peaceful day on the water. Passive activities such as bird watching are popular here, and the park’s gazebo and scenic overlook provide perfect spots to take in the views.
This beautiful natural beach is a wonderful place to simply relax—feel the sand beneath your toes, listen to the gentle sounds of the lake, and watch the horizon stretch out before you. Many visitors enjoy bringing a picnic, reading a book, or just sitting quietly and soaking in the fresh air.
With its combination of open shoreline, peaceful surroundings, and stunning scenery, Samuel Myers Park is the ideal place to slow down and enjoy the beauty of Racine’s lakeshore.

Our lakeshore beaches have limited recreational activity, with focus on enjoying the natural environment surrounding the lakeshore. Zoo Beach is perfect for swimming (unguarded) reading, or collecting beach glass.
