Racine Water Utility

The Racine Water Utility (RWU) is responsible for ensuring that the drinking water quality provided to Racine area residents meets or exceeds all Federal and State drinking water quality standards. Currently, RWU provides retail water service to approximately 34,500 residential, commercial, industrial, and public authority customer accounts across Racine County. The Utility also contracts with local firms on upgrade projects to the treatment plant and distribution system to ensure that quality and reliable water service is provided to its customers.
