Our dual-response system ensures a rapid and effective response to medical emergencies by dispatching both fire engines and paramedic rescue squads. All Racine fire engines are equipped with emergency medical gear, allowing first-arriving crews to begin treatment immediately, even before advanced support arrives.

Through ongoing, rigorous training, EMTs maintain core competencies in Basic Life Support (BLS), while paramedics receive advanced instruction in Advanced Life Support (ALS) techniques. Paramedics are held to the highest standards and continually enhance their skills through collaboration with regional and national partners.
