Victor Hugo Escobedo Jr.
Victor graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside in the winter of 2021. Since graduating from Parkside, he has gained valuable work experience in the fields of Higher Education and Human Resources. His career began as an intern with Kroger Logistics and Supply Chain as an HR Generalist/Community Outreach Specialist. Over the last three years, he has worked as a Program Manager for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Student Success and Academic & Career Advisor for both Carthage and Parkside.
Kischa Buford
Kischa first came to the City of Racine to create the city’s highly successful Youth Employment Program (YEP). After two years of managing the YEP, Kischa was named the city’s DEI Officer. She has 10 years of experience in recruiting, community relations, and workforce development in the public and non-profit sectors. Before joining the City of Racine, Kischa was the Recruiter for the City of Milwaukee’s Fire and Police Commission, where she oversaw the recruitment, community relations, and marketing campaigns for the Milwaukee Fire and Police Departments. Her main objective was to increase diversity and inclusive practices within the recruitment and testing process and educate the community on the importance of residency and community-serving positions.
