Seasonal Leaf Collection
Spring and Fall Leaf Collection
The City of Racine conducts coordinated spring and fall leaf collection programs each year to protect our stormwater system, reduce flooding, and maintain neighborhood cleanliness.
Leaf collection is funded through the Storm Water Utility because removing leaves from streets significantly reduces nutrient pollution in stormwater and helps prevent storm drain blockages and street flooding. Collected leaves are recycled into compost.
Season dates may vary slightly each year and may be adjusted due to weather conditions.
