Benches provide a peaceful place to relax and remember your loved one, while also providing a peaceful place for others in the community to enjoy the atmosphere of our parks.  There are 2 styles of benches to choose from.

Please read through our 2025 Donation Program before making a determination about the type of bench you would like to donate.

You can donate a bench to one of the City’s many parks. Choose an un-dedicated park bench to donate, or donate a bench in a new location. We need to review and approve the location. Once approved, we will install a plaque on the bench to recognize your donation.

On your donation application, make sure to include what you want your plaque to say.

Keep in mind:

• You can’t use the plaque as a memorial marker (we don’t allow birth or death dates)
• You can’t put a logo on the plaque
• We will have to approve your message before creating the plaque

• Pricing includes: bench, bronze plaque, cement, and installation
• Donations are on a 10-year cycle.  After 10 years, we make a renewal inquiry to the original donor.  If the donor chooses not to renew, we will make the bench available to others.
