The FICDR team consists of professionals from public health, fire and law enforcement, hospitals, the District Attorney, the State Department of Health Services, the County Medical Examiner, Child Protective Services, the Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin, social workers, and physicians.
The team meets quarterly to review fetal losses and the deaths of those who pass away before reaching age 21. Meetings are held with the intent of developing prevention efforts for local communities, as well as monitoring the implementation of those efforts.

Excerpt from the Executive Summary: “When the CDR and FIMR teams were joined together, the goal was to work towards a true CDR/FIMR hybrid team, the first of its kind in Wisconsin. This goal was important to ensure the long-term sustainability of the CDR and FIMR teams. As such, this report presents data from 2011 through 2016 and marks the beginning of a hybrid Fetal, Infant & Child Death Review team (FICDR) in Racine County.”
